Today, Develop Diverse, the inclusive writing platform, announces a significant shift in its leadership. After almost seven years of dedicated service, our CEO Jenifer Clausell-Tormos, will step down from her role as CEO. She will be embarking on a new journey in Spain, her homeland, while leaving Develop Diverse in the hands of co-founder Pil Byriel and Mads Møller. At the same time, Jenifer has exited Develop Diverse as she has sold her shares to the new leadership team.
Jenifer’s passion for promoting equal opportunities in the workplace has laid the foundation for our success and has inspired many individuals along the way. We thank Jenifer for her contributions and wish her the best in the future.
We are delighted to introduce our incoming leadership team:
Pil Byriel, Co-Founder and the driving force behind Develop Diverse’s growth, will step into the role of CEO. Pil’s strategic vision and deep industry knowledge will guide the company forward, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity in our mission. Pil is a familiar face and has been a co-founder of Develop Diverse alongside Jenifer since 2020 and will be stepping up from her role as Chief Commercial officer.
Mads Møller, A great advocate for inclusive design and technology, will take on the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO). Mads has worked with start-ups and large corporations over the last years to build best-in-class software offerings and has previously founded the SaaS company, Napp, which was acquired by Templafy a few years back. Mads has been advising Develop Diverse on our product strategy since January 2023 and will oversee our product development efforts with our customers at the center.

This transition marks an important milestone in Develop Diverse’s journey, but our commitment to building a more equitable and inclusive workplace remains the same. With Pil and Mads at the helm, our customers can anticipate an even more customer-centric organization, committed to our mission.
